BCOME an OBI BAG

Japanese Obis 帯 are mostly very colorful and for that reason perfect to be turned into a bright outstanding accessory for a simple dress. 

So in case you have an old Obi, why not let it BCOME an OBI BAG?!

This Obi bag has got a simple shape and can carry quite a lot with its long shaped volume.

The inner face is made out of a simple cotton fabric to match the golden color of the Obi.

Here is my latest creation ... the Belt-Bag which can be also used as a scarf when you are not in the mood to carry with you a bag but need your keys, a bit money and maybe a lipstick with you. Give a simple dress a nice accent.

Towl-Bag

Found this nice idea somewhere in the internet and thought that this would be the perfect thing for a perfect Summer at the pool, beach or lake ... just take your towl as a bag with you and carry all your necessary items which you need for a day in the sun with you!

Blue-Sheet-Bag ブルーシートバッグ

The Japanese Year is full of events like the Cherry blossom, the Summer fireworks, BBQ ... where so called Blue Sheets are used to sit on the ground ... and most of the time get thrown away 'cause people don't know how to fold them compact again ...

So I made a Blue-Sheet-Bag which you can easily fold and unfold, just following the stiches and which has got additional pockets outside so that you can carry something to drink (or something else) with you so that the party get's started the minute you unfold your Blue-Sheet-Bag and sit on it.
(This is just a prototype and I am working on a bag with a nice fabric on the top)

... this bracelet-bag is, as the name already explains, a small bag as well as a bracelet. Going out in the evening to the opera or somewhere else where you don't want to carry a bag with you, I thought that this could be a good accessoire to wear with an evening dress.
Big enough for your key, some money aso. but small enough to put around your arm to become a colorful bracelet, made out of kimono fabric.

... found a nice cut for a so called 'Japanese Knot-Bag' a while ago and used now old Kimono fabric and a strong orange fabric as accent color for the inside ... this will probably be not the last bag I will make.

... a new form of recycling: made a soft shopping bag out of two old TShirts with pockets (the sleeves I took of) on each side.
