BCOME a SEASON'S GREETING FOR KIRIKIRI, JAPAN
Dear friends
The New Year's celebrations OSHOGATSU (お正月) is one of the most important traditional holidays of the year in Japan. Many people from the affected regions of the March 11, 2011 Earthquake and Tsunami will not be able to celebrate New Year's in the same way this year, as they have in the past; because they have lost their family, parents or friends, their home and/or their work.
It is only nine months since the disaster and the people are still in need of much support and attention - even the smallest gesture counts! We have been asked by many friends as to how one can help the people in the North of Japan. The simple action of sending "Seasons greetings for Kirikiri, Japan", will positively bring some joy to a lot of people - and especially to the children!
It's so simple; all you have to do, is prepare:
1) a small parcel with sweets
2) a personal message - English, German, Japanese, French, Spanish ... every language is ok!
3) send to
IWATE REVIVE SUPPORT ASSOCIATION c/o Mr. Ken Mezawa
028-0515 Iwate Prefecture, Tono-Shi, Higashidate-Cho 5-11, JAPAN
We have met personally with Mr. Ken Mezawa, one of the founders of the "IWATE REVIVE SUPPORT ASSOCIATION". He and his volunteer helpers work in their spare time in order to help the people, comfort them and to deliver the collected donations. The association now also assists in "self-help", so the people are better able to help themselves and each other. Examples of their actions can be seen on the website (though unfortunately only in Japanese).
It would be so wonderful if you would send a sign of sympathy, love and support to the North of Japan in high numbers!!! Thank you so much in advance and many dear greetings to you all.

BCOME with 心は共にon RESPAPER.RUS
While the rainy season is starting and making the works in Tohoku Japan more difficult, BCOME is back in Tokyo and pretty busy with several projects ... so busy that I can right now just show another link of 心は共に on respaper.rus, hoping that you guys don't loose the interest in my work until I will be able again to do some of my upcycle ideas which are right now in my head, waiting to become reality.
Until than please, please stay tuned, trust me that there is really more coming up in the future and please support 心は共に!!! We got a lot of beautiful feedback when we had been in Tohoku, the North of Japan and it would be lovely if more and more people world wide would take part and show the people in Japan that they are not forgotten!!!!
Thank you very much in advance for your support!!

Wow, was the first thing what I thought ... hopefully this will bring more people to join our project and also more people to have a look at it and spread the news!

BCOME a NEWSLETTER
For all of you who are into web design and email newsletter design, here is a link to the fabulous website Beautiful Emails where Mohammad Koubeissi explains in 3 steps an easy way of creating a simple Mail newsletter.
Guess what I have done yesterday ?!!
Still have to do some polish and designing on the BCOME newsletter ... but what was once still a dream turned now into "hm, I think I can to it, yeah!".
Thanks, Mohammad for sharing this tutorial with us!

BCOME a COMMENTATOR
While sitting in my tiny mini small office with windchill factor 35°C (although Tokyo 'just' 'pampered' us with 30°C ... already more than 60 days in a row) I suddenly thought I should post some questions, I was recently thinking of, on BCOME.
What do you think of BCOME? Is there anything you would like to see or been created?
Being busy right now with several projects I can't show here, this 'showcase' of BCOME became a bit silent during the last time. So I started thinking, I should ask - in case some people are checking out (hopefully) BCOME from time to time, what they, what you feel about BCOME.
Feedback is always a great help and keeps one going to create new things ... so, why not giving it a try and asking such questions, hoping for response. So, in case you are reading this and have something on your mind, feel free to use the comment function (marked in the pic with the red circle) and drop me a line. Thanks a lot in advance - 宜しくお願い致します!
iPHONE COVER
I guess everybody loves this feeling when you are finally holding your own creation in your hands. So did I when a couple of days my new personal designed iPhone covers arrived.
The print quality is perfect and there is no loss of graphic details - just as I intended it to be as you can see when you compare it to my design which I showed on a previous post.
Now I am looking for a Japanese company who is offering me the same service in order not to have my design shipped arround the world before it reachs me and in my product interested friends.

BCOME a BUSINESS CARD POCKET
In Japan business cards are an important item when it comes to meeting new people.
For that reason I prefer to have in all of my bags some business cards - who never knows whom you meet by accident ?! Due to the fact that I was running out of business card holders, I upcycled some out of TetraPak (in this case, I used some juice cartons which show that we are mostly drinking orange and grapefruit juice) to be prepared in case of networking!
