OUR THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU - for the North of Japan

2012.03.11 ... One year ago at 14:46 the an earthquake of the magnitude 9 which lasted 2 minutes changed the life of uncounted people, took the life of more than 20.000 with a Tsunami, stronger and bigger as we all would have imagined it in our worst nightmares.
People lost their lifes, their beloved ones, their homes, everything, one of the big nuclear power plants got more than badly destroyed ...

One year ago, life in Tohoku, the North of Japan changed from one minute to the other. One year has passed now by and people still live in temporary housings, had to leave their homes because of radioactivity, still do not know how to go on and are loosing hope.

One year ago everybody in Japan was shocked and the world was looking at us and reaching out helping hands. Let's take this opportunity to think of the ones who lost their lives, the ones who lost beloved ones, who lost their hope and their future.

If you want to send them a sign that you care, please check out our website OUR THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU where you can show with a simple gesture that you care and that the people up in the North of Japan are not forgotten!

BCOME a LITTLE GESTURE FOR THE NORTH OF JAPAN

3.11 ONE YEAR

EVERY LITTLE GESTURE COUNTS !

Dear friends

Our past " season`s greetings to Kirikiri" campaign has been a great success. Thanks to your heartful action, we could reach many children in Iwate and received smiling faces back - please see on the attached pictures.

Soon, on March 11, one year will have past by since the great Tohoku Japan Earthquake. On the occasion of this sad anniversary and with the aim to see more smiling children`s faces, we would like to appeal for another "sweet" campaign, because up to today, EVERY GESTURE COUNTS! We are looking forward to your numerous participation.

It's so simple; all you have to do, is prepare:

1) a small parcel with sweets

2) send to
IWATE REVIVE SUPPORT ASSOCIATION c/o Mr. Ken Mezawa
028-0515 Iwate Prefecture, Tono-Shi, Higashidate-Cho 5-11, JAPAN

We have met personally with Mr. Ken Mezawa, one of the founders of the "IWATE REVIVE SUPPORT ASSOCIATION". He and his volunteer helpers work in their spare time in order to help the people, comfort them and to deliver the collected donations. Photos of the "season`s greetings to Kirikiri" can be seen on their website.

It would be so wonderful if you would send a sign of sympathy, love and support to the North of Japan in high numbers!!! Thank you so much in advance and many dear greetings to you all.

BCOME a SEASON'S GREETING FOR KIRIKIRI, JAPAN

Dear

Dear friends

The New Year's celebrations OSHOGATSU (お正月) is one of the most important traditional holidays of the year in Japan. Many people from the affected regions of the March 11, 2011 Earthquake and Tsunami will not be able to celebrate New Year's in the same way this year, as they have in the past; because they have lost their family, parents or friends, their home and/or their work.
It is only nine months since the disaster and the people are still in need of much support and attention - even the smallest gesture counts! We have been asked by many friends as to how one can help the people in the North of Japan. The simple action of sending "Seasons greetings for Kirikiri, Japan", will positively bring some joy to a lot of people - and especially to the children!

It's so simple; all you have to do, is prepare:

1) a small parcel with sweets

2) a personal message - English, German, Japanese, French, Spanish ... every language is ok!

3) send to
IWATE REVIVE SUPPORT ASSOCIATION c/o Mr.

The association now also assists in "self-help", so the people are better able to help themselves and each other. Examples of their actions can be seen on the website (though unfortunately only in Japanese).

It would be so wonderful if you would send a sign of sympathy, love and support to the North of Japan in high numbers!!! Thank you so much in advance and many dear greetings to you all.

BCOME with 心は共に for INTACTO AND WOMB FUNDRAISER: OUR HEART IS WITH JAPAN (INTAC032)

Last weeks have been pretty busy, so here some news about the release of DJ Shinedoe, who started the project INTACTO AND WOMB FUNDRAISER: OUR HEART IS WITH JAPAN (INTAC032)

As you may notice, the INTACTO team used the 心は共に logo, which will hopefully attract more people to take part in our project "sign of solidarity" for Tohoko, the North of Japan!

Digital Release: 8 June / Vinyl Release: 13 June
Label: Intacto Records facebook.com/intactorecords

On 11 March 2011, Shinedoe had planned to DJ at Club Womb in Tokyo.
She'll never forget the events and devastation that followed, nor will she forget the kindness of the local people who kept her safe and in good company during her days there.

As Oscar Wilde said "Music is the art which is most nigh to tears and memory" which is why Shinedoe has arranged this special Intacto release with all proceeds given to the Red Cross in an effort to try and ease some of the suffering in Japan.

ALL 7 TRACKS ARE FUNDRAISERS: The vinyl release comprises 2 tracks courtesy of Shinedoe and DJ Madskillz and compliments the digital compilation with an additional five fundraising tunes courtesy of Anton Pieete, Dave Ellesmere,
Itamar Sagi, Jerome Krom and Polder:

TRACKLISTING:
Kokorowatomoni - Shinedoe (vinyl & digital)
Burning - DJ Madskillz (vinyl & digital)
From the Hills - Anton Pieete (digital)
For Japan - Dave Ellesmere (digital)
Compassionate - Jerome Krom (digital)
Seven Bridges - Polder (digital)
Red Texture - Itamar Sagi (digital)

As well as the contributing artists who gave their time, energy and music, Shinedoe would like to thank Club Womb partnership for this fundraiser and to the "Kokorowatomoni" team for the artwork of their campaign.

Shinedoe also thanks the project team who supported her with this release:
Dylan Hermelijn - Intacto co-founder
Sandy Huner - Artwork & Design
Shirley Asafo-Adjei - Label Manager
Rhiannon Bryant - PR & Marketing

BCOME with 心は共にon RESPAPER.RUS

While the rainy season is starting and making the works in Tohoku Japan more difficult, BCOME is back in Tokyo and pretty busy with several projects ... so busy that I can right now just show another link of 心は共に on respaper.rus, hoping that you guys don't loose the interest in my work until I will be able again to do some of my upcycle ideas which are right now in my head, waiting to become reality.

Until than please, please stay tuned, trust me that there is really more coming up in the future and please support We got a lot of beautiful feedback when we had been in Tohoku, the North of Japan and it would be lovely if more and more people world wide would take part and show the people in Japan that they are not forgotten!!!!

Thank you very much in advance for your support!!

Tasukeai Japan says

"Delivering information that is as reliable as possible.
Offering advice and opportunities for people who want to help.
We won't let 3.11 be forgotten, and together we will build a new future."

Tasukeai Japan is working in Cooperation with the Cabinet Secretariat's Volunteers Coordination Office. So as you may imagine, I am more than super happy that they are introducing 心は共に on their site はげましたい !

Wow, was the first thing what I thought ... hopefully this will bring more people to join our project and also more people to have a look at it and spread the news!

BCOME in TOHOKU

Since Friday the 11th of March, the world has changed here in Japan. Although being beside the continues earthquakes not really effected by the catastrophe in Tohoku, the North of Japan, life is not what it has been before.

Work is of course going on, but due to the fact that I started with friends the project 心は共に to give the people in Tohoku a sign of solidarity, a lot of BCOME projects are right now on hold.

To show you that there is still a lot ongoing here in Japan, some photos which are taking on my volunteer trip with friends up in the North. Although we have seen a lot of photos of the by the tsunami hit areas, it is still surreal and unbelievable what has happened just 6 weeks ago.
There is still a huge number of people living in rescue shelters and it will take years to restore what has been distroyed in just a couple of hours by nature.

We have shown a lot of people here in the North the website 心は共に and they said that they really appreciate this gesture of solidarity. So please support them and show them your support with uploading your photo on 心は共に!!

... heading now back to Kamaishi for 2 additional volunteering days.

Just prepared some 心は共に PINs - of course out of TetraPak as base - for tonights cherry blossom charity event, where we wanna try to 'collect' more 心は共に supporter photos.
Well keep you posted how it goes, so stay tuned.

HOPE DRAWS ITS POWER THROUGH A SIGN OF SOLIDARITY

After these past few weeks our concern and worry continue for Japan.

Much of the Japanese population continues to suffer in the wake of three devastating events from the effects of earthquakes, tsunami and the nuclear disaster.

Many of us find our hearts are with the families and friends we love, including with those in all the cities and towns across this special and great country.

It’s very difficult for most of us to imagine what it must be like to find oneself in such a circumstance. Though we know what it feels like, when we hear that people are thinking about us at such a difficult time.

The main focus of this site is to provide a place for all to post as many photos of you with the Tohoku heart and by doing so we are able to show people that we continue to hold them in our thoughts and we haven’t forgotten.

Thanks for being part of this!

Four easy steps to show that you care:

01 Download heart from website
02 print it off
03 Take a pic of yourself with the heart
04 Upload the pic onto the website

The Meteorological Agency has announced that there is a 70% chance of having M7.0 aftershocks in the following 2 days. This number is not to scare us, the people in Japan, but to give us a chance to be prepared and ready.

Preparing a light bag with some emergency goods and putting it somewhere you can reach it easily when you have to leave the house in a hurry, as well as having shoes and warm jackets close by, are basic things you can do.
